Jeb At Broward GOP Dinner 3 Days Before Primary
BY BUDDY NEVINS
Jeb Bush is the keynote speaker at this year’s major Broward Republican Party fund raiser just three days before Florida’s GOP presidential primary.
By scheduling Bush the Broward’s Republican establishment is picking sides in a bitter primary fight. The group is significantly spurning U. S. Sen. Marco Rubio, who is also a Republican from nearby Miami and has significant support among local GOP voters.
Jeb Bush
It is anybody’s guess whether Bush, who has not fared well to date in the presidential sweepstakes, will still be a candidate by March 12, the day of the Lincoln Day Dinner in Fort Lauderdale.
The GOP news release makes a point of emphasizing that “the purpose of the dinner is to raise funds exclusively for the Broward Republican Executive Committee (BREC) to assist its mission to get more Republicans elected in Broward County. Governor Bush is not asking for funds or donations.”
That’s good since there is backing for candidates like Rubio and Donald Trump here.

BFD.
So what if Jebrah gets every vote at the dinner (and he won’t), that would only add up to 400 votes. Big deal. Besides, the type of person that goes to these dinners does not wait until three days before the primary to make up his mind. Any lackluster speechifying that Jebrah does is not going to sway many people.

Save your money people. Best way to describe Jeb Bush is you know when you leave a can of soda out to long and it looses its fiz, goes flat, well Jeb Bush the same thing. I mean he spent over forty mill in New Hampshire to come in basiccly last. Tha debate last night was a disgrace. Bush and Trump going after each other, the name calling, the cheap shots that your vote shouldn’t go to either one of them. Gov.Kasich really shined last night, the others need not apply….

Regardless of whether former Florida Governor Bush succeeds or not in this year’s Presidential Race the next generation of Bushs has alrwady achiwved elected State office and will have strong chances ffor a fourth generation of national Republican leaders. Attending this event for Republicans is well worth the money.
For independents n wealthy Democrats it might also be interesting and worthwhile for futue use.

1. It is disgraceful “Florida favourite son” n former Governor Jeb (always thought that nickname for a Connecticut Maine Yankee was dumb) Bush bailing on HIS PARTYs Broward organization.
2. When George P Bush – now a “Texas favourite son” cones to raise money here I hope people will remember this betrsyal of the Party that put two lacklustre Bushes in the White House.
3. Every Republican who paid for this Dinner deserves an apology UNLESS THEY CAN BEG DONALD TRUMP TO SAVE THEIR SKINS WITH THEIR DONORs.
4. MAKES MITCH CESAR AND CYNTHIA BUSH LOOK LIJE GENIUSES!

if Mr. Trump was speaking I would go.
He is going to sweep FL and it would garner interest and a big turn-out for the canned ham dinner or whatever is being served.
But of course these stick-in-the-muds don’t get the zeitgeist the little people are feeling.
